A practical service for smaller moves

You might need a few pieces of furniture moved between homes, belongings taken to storage or help moving out of a small flat. Bridgepoint provides the vehicle and moving team, with loading and unloading included in the agreed service.

Tell us the number and size of the items and the journey involved. We will assess the vehicle, access and handling needed rather than asking you to fit your job into a standard package.

Single items and multiple-item collections

We move suitable sofas, beds, wardrobes, tables, cabinets and appliances, as well as boxes and other belongings. Several items can be collected together, and multiple collection points can be discussed when requesting a quote.

Small house and flat moves

If you are moving from a smaller property or only taking selected belongings, a man and van may provide the transport you need. For a complete property move, our house removal service covers full and part removals. We will help you choose the appropriate arrangement.

Transport to and from storage

We can collect furniture and belongings from home and deliver to a storage unit, or bring them back when you need them. Choose our managed storage service for collection, protection, storage and return delivery. If you arrange a separate storage facility, tell us its access and opening arrangements before booking.

One man and van or two men and a van?

The team depends on the size, weight and handling requirements of your items. A smaller collection may need one person, while heavy furniture, large appliances or awkward access may require two. Additional people can be discussed where required and available.

Our team handles the lifting and unloading. Please describe stairs, narrow doors, long carries and parking restrictions in advance so we can plan a suitable team. Protective blankets, wrapping, mattress covers and securing equipment are used as appropriate. Suitable furniture can be dismantled and reassembled by arrangement.

Shop and online purchase collections

Bought something that will not fit in your car? We can collect suitable purchases from private sellers, Facebook Marketplace and retailers where collection is arranged. For details about sofa, appliance, IKEA and marketplace purchases, visit our furniture and appliance delivery page.

Man and van coverage across Northern Ireland

We provide collections, deliveries and small moves throughout Northern Ireland, including Belfast, Bangor, Newtownards, Lisburn and surrounding areas. Same-day collections may be available; contact us with the details and we will check the schedule.

Get a price for your move

1. Send the collection and delivery addresses, preferred date and an item list or photographs.
2. Tell us about dimensions, heavy items, stairs and any furniture dismantling.
3. We confirm the team, transport and quotation.
4. We collect, secure, transport and unload your items at the agreed destination.

Man and van costs depend on the distance, items, access, team size and time required. We provide a free quote for your individual job. If items need disposed of rather than moved to another address, ask about waste removal.
