Student removals for every stage of university

Student moves can mean a few boxes and a desk rather than a complete house. We arrange transport around what you need moved, handling the loading, journey and unloading so you do not need to hire or drive a van.

We can move suitable boxes, bags, books, clothes, bedding, mattresses, desks, chairs, televisions and small furniture. Send us a list or photographs and we will discuss a suitable team and vehicle.

Moving from home to student accommodation

We collect your prepared belongings from home and deliver to your university accommodation. Tell us your moving-in date, arrival window, room access and any parking or reception arrangements. Parents are welcome to arrange the move and discuss the details with us.

Moving between student houses

Changing accommodation in Belfast or elsewhere in Northern Ireland? We can collect from your current address and deliver to the next. This can help when you have furniture, a mattress or more boxes than will fit in a car.

End-of-term moves and storage transport

We can take belongings home at the end of term, deliver to new accommodation or arrange student storage with collection and return delivery. When the next term starts, we can deliver your stored belongings to your room. We can also transport items to or from a storage facility you have arranged.

Small loads and suitable furniture handling

You do not need a full van load. A few boxes, a bed or a desk and chair can be quoted as a student move. We arrange one or two people depending on the items, weight and access.

Our team handles loading and unloading, with appropriate blankets, wrapping, mattress covers and straps used for protection. Suitable furniture can be dismantled and reassembled where required and agreed. Pack your own boxes before collection or ask about our packing service alongside your Bridgepoint move.

Student moves to England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland

Going to university across the Irish Sea? We can arrange student moves between Northern Ireland and Great Britain, with ferry arrangements included in the quotation where required. We also provide student moves between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Give us the full addresses, accommodation availability and preferred dates so the route can be planned. Our cross-channel removal service explains longer-distance arrangements in more detail.

How to book your student move

1. Send your collection and delivery addresses and preferred moving date.
2. List the boxes, bags and furniture, with photographs or dimensions where useful.
3. Tell us about floor levels, stairs, lifts, parking and any delivery time window.
4. We provide a quotation and agree the transport, then collect and deliver your belongings.

Student moving costs

Your quote depends on the amount being moved, distance, access, number of people and any ferry crossing. There is no need to book a full house removal for a small load. For other small transport jobs, you can also use our man and van service.
